Giving Machine Houston

Last night had the opportunity to attend the annual Tomagwa HealthCare Ministries Gala.

We’re grateful to support organizations that are making a real difference in the lives of individuals and families throughout our community. Thank you to Tomagwa HealthCare Ministries for the incredible work you do every day.

Some moments say more than words ever could.

Last December at Hughes Landing, the Giving Machine became more than an event display. It became a moment of discovery, compassion, and connection across generations. In this simple glance, you can see the wonder of a child and the quiet meaning of a parent sharing something bigger than themselves.

That was the beauty of the season — ordinary people pausing to choose kindness, give with purpose, and show the next generation what it looks like to care for others.

Moments like this reminded us that giving leaves an impact far beyond the moment itself. It stayed with families, with children, and with everyone who experienced the spirit of the Giving Machine.

Because of the generosity of our Houston community, East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry received support that blessed many local families.

From birthday bags and school supplies to meals and groceries, these donations helped meet real needs in meaningful ways. Together, our community made possible 337 birthday bags, after-school snacks for 116 students, 125 sets of school supplies, a month of breakfast for 170 children, and groceries for 116 families.

Thank you to everyone who gave through the Light the World Giving Machine. Together, these donations made a total impact of $40,675.
