Story time: After getting to know .toll and over the last 2.5 years, we finally had a chance to meet in person this summer! We met over breakfast at the where my kids and I were staying for a little summer getaway (and celebration!). As we left our breakfast meeting, I could tell the wheels were turning in my daughter Elle’s mind. When I asked her what she was thinking about, she said this:

“If those two best friends could start a business together, then maybe one day I can start a business with my best friend Annabelle!”

Indeed, after hearing about best friends Courtney and Annabel starting a business together, Elle was inspired by the possibilities for her future! She could envision great things for herself - and her best friend! (It probably didn’t hurt that her best friend’s name is Annabelle as well. ;) )

Today, Curate Capital is proud to be the lead investor in - and I can’t help but feel the full-circle magic of it all. What started as two friends with a dream is now inspiring the next generation of female founders. Here’s to building companies, breaking barriers, and showing others what’s possible.
