Let’s be practical here… you wouldn’t purchase anything from a business that didn’t have their stuff together.
If they opened whenever they wanted, didn’t have their registers working, never advertised anything but sales flyers, it would be hard to trust them. We all work hard for our money and wouldn’t want to waste it on brands that don’t value themselves enough to show up.

No one can make you be consistent, you just have to do it. So start by making a schedule and sticking to it. Just like a 9-5 put that passion in and you’ll see growth.

Black women have a tendency to handle it all themselves because the people around them purposely act useless. They know when we walk in a room everything will be handled if they help or not. But this should not be the narrative any longer. Especially as a business owner, you need HELP.
You need help
✅ Answering Emails
✅ Scheduling Post
✅ Packing Orders
✅ Counting Inventory
✅ Washing Dishes
✅ Cooking
✅ Bathing Children

And everything else you do for everyone, in every space you’re in. We are not often asked if we are okay, if we need a hand, or just a shoulder to cry on. And it’s leaving us burnt out. It’s time for boundaries and an investment in self. Increase the standard period 💅🏾

Don’t stop because you aren’t seeing results immediately. Keep consistently improving and you will eventually get there!

Girrrl! Don’t be afraid to have a sale because you’ve heard people on the internet tell you not to discount your prices. Specifically for retail business this is a tactic used to increase sales volume, remove old inventory, and reengage a specific demographic of your audience.

✅ Boohoo etc
In my opinion, It’s not a bad thing to have some people only shop with you during a sale period so long as this isn’t the bulk of your audience. The fact that you can predict their behavior is still valuable in my eyes.
