Pop quiz, parents. 🍋

Only 28% of parents are talking to their kids about money. And research shows money habits start forming by age 7.

So if school isn't teaching it, and we aren't talking about it...when do kids actually learn?

That is where Lemonade Day comes in.

Our program teaches kids K-8th grade to earn, save, spend, and share. Not from a worksheet. By actually running a real business.

Last year, the average kid:

💵 Earned $360 in revenue
🏦 Saved $125
❤️ Donated $75 to a charity they picked themselves

Did you ever wish kids came with a manual? Lemonade Day is closer than you think.

A thing parents tell us all the time - and we love it every time. 💛

"He ran his Lemonade Day stand last spring. Then in July he started a dog-walking thing. Now he's making bracelets at the kitchen table and selling them at my office on Fridays."

Once a kid has done it once, the rest happens on its own.

A few of our favorite "what happened after" stories from past Lemonade Day families:

🍪 An 8-year-old who pivoted to baking and now has standing weekly orders from three neighbors
🌱 A 10-year-old who started a "porch plant care" business while neighbors travel
🎨 A 9-year-old who sells custom name signs at her mom's farmer's market booth
✏️ An 11-year-old who tutors younger kids in his apartment building
🐕 A 7-year-old whose dog-walking client list now has six dogs on it

None of these kids "needed" Lemonade Day for these businesses. But all of them learned the *moves* at Lemonade Day - pricing, change-making, customer service, marketing, the courage to ask a stranger to buy something.

Once those moves are in muscle memory, kids reach for them again. And again. And again.

That's the long arc of one lemonade stand. 🍋

Summer is officially here. So is stand season. ☀️🍋

School is wrapping up. The weather is perfect. And in cities all across the country, June is one of the biggest months on the Lemonade Day calendar.

If your kid has been waiting for their moment, this is it.

Here is what a Lemonade Day summer looks like:

🍋 A real business your kid builds themselves (with a little help from the My Lemonade Day app)
💵 Real money earned, saved, spent, and shared
☀️ A weekend they will talk about for the rest of the summer
💛 Confidence that lasts way longer than the lemonade

Last year, 65,655 kids ran their first business. A whole lot of them did it in June.

This is your kid's summer to start something.
