How you react to the situations you are in is just as important as the situations themselves. We can’t always control what life throws at us, but we can control how we respond and work to grow.

Learning and developing healthy coping skills will not only help you at the moment but will be significant in making you resilient. Don’t forget that coping skills can vary from person to person and also based on the type of situation.

Mindfulness through meditation and physical activities like gardening in the Sowing Seeds Community Garden are two great examples of coping skills you can try!

This week, take a moment to be mindful when faced with a difficult or stressful situation.
