Sadly I normally don’t do this but this was a vendor that scammed me just this March for an event she did! I feel I have every right to alert the community along with our wonderful vendors & followers on a recent incident that took place. We try to be very respectful of all our vendors & to do right by everyone along with making sure we’re respected in return. After 5 years of hosting events this was the 1st incident of FRAUD we’ve encountered where money was stolen from us!

We want all vendors/ hosts/ our lovely community to know we take Pride in each event we host trying to ensure it a success for everyone involved. We host events to help small businesses but also to make our community a Fun & safe place for all to come enjoy.

This vendor is a total fraud!!!
Yemi the owner paid me for a vendor event, she did the event and in the event she then started harassing me for a free booth for the next event! Which I did give her as I am a very nice host. I gave her AMPLE information about myself, the event along with an invoice via QuickBooks with valid documents for her records all stating who I was. She then later claimed the same day fraud to get the money back after doing the event!

She then continued to lie (I have ample texts to prove this) that she didn’t know who I was yet my name has been on EVERY transaction along with event name, company name & event details since we started talking about the event. I tried reaching out to her several times she claimed it was her bank & she would rectify the situation BUT has blocked me since then, stole money from me for the event & has refused to answer my calls or texts regarding this matter! I’ve posted ALL receipts & chats between us over several weeks where she knew exactly who I was & was given all information on event details as well. We are all small business owners & this is not OK to do.

🚩🚩🚩PLEASE BEWARE AS SHE IS A SCAMMER!
I would never recommend work with her.
I’ve reported her & her business for fraud.
