Healthy food swaps you can make today to radically improve your health! ✨

Often times we are told that plant based options are better for our health and longevity, but that’s not always the case. Incorporating animal based and naturally occurring foods into your diet, while avoiding highly processed foods, will have a significant improvement in the overall nutrient density of your meals and in your health.

Foods like oatmilk, cereal, seed oils, margarine, fruit juice, oatmeal, and plant based meats are highly processed, contain a ton of chemically derived ingredient, and can have a negative impact on your mental, physical, and metabolic health.

It’s so important to look at the ingredients labels on your food and opt for things with clean and naturally occurring ingredients. When grocery shopping, stick to the perimeter of the store are much as possible while prioritizing high quality animal protein. You will quickly notice a big difference in the way you look and feel.

One of my favorite, go-to animal based meals that I have almost every single day is a burger patty with a handful of fruit and half of an avocado. This meal keeps me full until dinner without needing to snack, and is packed with nutrients to give me energy that lasts throughout the day. I make sure to prioritize high quality protein, healthy fats, and whole food - one ingredient carbs at every meal to help me reach my goals, maintain and improve body composition, and to promote optimal hormone expression.
