Life is starting to feel a little different these days.

I’m not quite done closing this current chapter, but I definitely have one foot through the next door.

As I approach two years since my solo trip to Bali, I find myself reflecting on how much that experience shaped me. It taught me how to get quiet, trust myself, and stay grounded during seasons of uncertainty.

Right now, I’m in a season of transition—and a season of unlearning. For most of my life, immediate action and ex*****on served me well. These days, I’m learning that not every answer requires immediate movement.

Sometimes the most important thing we can do is trust the process and remain rooted in who we are.

What you don't see in the wedding photos.

Two days before this photo was taken, I went to what I thought was a routine doctor's appointment. I left in a cast for six weeks.

I had a choice to make. And honestly, it wasn't even really a choice — because Kristen and Joey were counting on me. Their day was planned, their vision was set, and I was not going to be the reason it didn't come together exactly the way they imagined.

So I showed up. Cast and all.

That's the wrist brace you see in this photo, by the way. Right there in the frame, while I'm finishing the last of the arrangements on their wedding morning.

I think a lot about what it means when someone chooses you to be part of their wedding day. It's not a transaction. It's trust. And I take that seriously in a way that goes beyond flowers and timelines.
