KCSM 4503 is waiting for a westbound to pass at Eureka Junction on 07/20/2008 at dusk. This was eastbound train MMXSHJ-18.

After many unsuccessful attempts to catch the Wabash Heritage locomotive in the past few years, I was finally able to catch it as a rear facing DPU unit on a loaded coal train. Here is NS 1070, Wabash SD70ACe as DPU on train CCAHD-17, along with UP 5759 and UP 6419 up front, passing through Houston on 06/26/2022.

NS 4352 / UP 6922 / UP 7390 pass though Austin, and the Austin Amtrak Station with loaded rock train ROGGJ-12 on 05/14/2022.
