At EPOG Academy, one of our core values is Ownership. Ownership is all about taking full responsibility for yourself and your circumstances.
Several months ago our founder and CEO Tim Harrison, delivered a Spoken Word poem titled “Black Privilege” to a group of Rice University Freshmen. The piece centers around the question “What does it mean to be an African American?” and explores his journey of discovering Ownership over this part of his identity.
