LaTosha Cleaver is an accomplished 42-year-old single mom with a Master of Business Administration degree. She is also a Masters powerlifter. Having been in the sport a mere 9 years, and not ever picking up a barbell until her mid-thirties, she immediately found a love for the sport. She is a huge advocate for women’s strength sports and takes the term “Strength is Beautiful” very seriously, living by that mantra daily. Dubbing herself the Deadlift Diva, she is ranked as the #1 tested female lifter in Masters 40-44, 100kg weight class across all Federations and #4 non-tested. She currently holds 2 IPL World Records, 9 USPA National Records, and several Texas State Records. She is currently training to compete in her 2nd Drug Tested Nationals Competition to be held in Atlanta, GA. She will lift on day 4 of the competition on Memorial Day, May 30th where she aspires to break more records and complete her first ever 500lb+ deadlift!
