Post church fishing, still in church clothes and caught the biggest crappie I’ve ever caught while fishing for bass. 😳🤩🙌🏻

🏆 this beautiful lady took 1st place in the Golden Perch category of the pirtekfishingchallenge 😍. The big goldens have been very hard to find at googong this season and this one isn't as morbidly obese as they normally are from the dam either. But when we saw this one descending on my lure on the Livescope, we knew it was a fairly decent specimen and a potential winner. I have to say thanks to Guests and Pirtek because I had an absolute blast fishing the challenge. What a cool event, a great excuse to get out and chase a multitude of species and all for a great cause! Also Congratulations to who took out the largest cod from the dam on the same day. That was a massive achievement! They were definitely not about in their usual numbers. The few cod that we did see for the day were extremely spooky and barely stuck around long enough to get a lure in front of them. Well done Romen!
