Digital Marketing is Sales
Sales ALWAYS has advertising costs

The billboards, commercials, and printed ads are presented at a cost, But...
Advertising is essential

There will be no sales without advertising!

Advertising Mediums
Include Facebook, Youtube, Pintrest, TikTok, Google, LinkIn, Instagram, etc.

Facebook is one of the main advertising medias
Used by beginning digital marketers

The audience you want to sell to can be targeted and focused

Facebook ad costs can be set by the day,
But you will need a credit card

Ads can be run on Facebook for as low as $5 per day - $150 / month

Sales
Will most definitely be slow to non-existent at first…
Especially at $5 per day

And any sales that come,
Should be reinvested back into the business

To Buy or Not to Buy - more advertising…

More ads = More sales…
Direct relationship!

$5/day on Facebook will not bring many sales, but it is a start!

When you actually start advertising – I suggest starting at $10/day if possible

Keep in mind, This is an investment…

Investment money is money You can live without…

It should not come from Bills, Household needs, or the Family budget!

Start Small…

You will find your ad costs will be 3 to 4 times more than what your fixed software costs will be

You will also find training costs can be very expensive…

The above costs are business startup, fixed, and essential costs

They can be compared to the startup and fixed overhead expenses of a brick and mortar business.

See a cost projection of a typical brick and mortar company:

Granted,
You will need some accounting and tax costs as time goes by
But not immediately,

And expenses will still be far less than any brick and mortar company

The profitability curve may be about the same – 2 to 5 years
But the potential profitability is far greater!

And more often than not your ROI (Return on Investment) is far quicker!

Landing pages are usually in PDF format
They begin what Digital Marketers call the “Funnel Process”

The funnel process narrows down mass media ads from the masses:
• To window shoppers
• To Information Seekers or Leads
• To Potential Buyers
• To Buyers

People who click on your advertisements Are directed to a Landing Page

This click turns one of the masses into a window shopper

The Landing Page seeks to turns the window shopper
Into an information seeking Lead

This change is not done with just a simple click…

It is a Value Trade.

Landing pages follow advertisement clicks
They offer information of free monetary value (don’t cost anything)

…IF…
The window shopper will provide their Email Address

By doing this the Window Shopper
Is basically saying…
Please send me more information!

When they submit their email address…
They automatically receive an email from the digital marketer’s autoresponder

Which contains a link to an online PDF (Landing Page) with the free value

The Email and the PDF also contain offers
Of Greater or Different values

Sales Leads…
The Greater or Different Values Usually cost something

The Info Seeker’s email address is sent to the Autoresponder

The Info Seeker’s email address is the Digital Marketer's
Sales Lead

Further emails are sent to the Lead from the Autoresponder
With Landing Page links
Of Greater or Different Values

In the hopes that something will be purchased.

Landing Page Software
Is an Essential Tool - but can be quite Costly!

There are several products that will help build Landing Pages

Two common ones are Lead Pages and Clickfunnels

Lead Pages is by far the cheapest of the two, But is somewhat more difficult to use in my estimation.

Clickfunnels is far more expensive, but...

Clickfunnels Landing Pages are fairly easy to build,
And easily integrated into the Sales Funnel

Which is roughly $1200 per year
Landing Page Budget = $1200 / year

I won’t lie, that is a lot!

But I learned as a professional teacher
Invest in the proper training and tools!
