We are deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of L. David Sparks, chairman of the board of our parent company, Precision Health Holdings, and the former CEO of PCCA, on Saturday, May 9, at the age of 82, due to complications from congestive heart failure (CHF) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Dave was a respected leader whose vision, integrity and dedication helped shape our organization and touched countless people across the compounding pharmacy industry. He will be remembered not only for his extraordinary contributions but also for the generosity, wisdom and care he brought to those around him.

Dave helped build a strong organization, a capable Board and experienced executive leadership teams across Precision Health Holdings and its companies. Jim Smith continues to serve as CEO of Precision Health Holdings, Gus Bassani continues to serve as CEO of PCCA USA, and the leadership teams across PCCA USA, PCCA Canada, PCCA Australia, PCCA UK, Eagle and Wilcrest Pharma remain fully engaged in day-to-day operations. Our companies are stable, our mission is unchanged, and Dave’s work continues through the people and culture he helped shape.

Our hearts are with Dave’s family, loved ones and all who had the privilege of knowing him. We will share additional information about a Celebration of Life service honoring Dave when details are available.
