How to Replace a Fuse Block on your 8th Gen Honda Civic! The reason why I am replacing the fuse block is because we believe the vehicle was flooded in the past. And the windows were not getting any power.

The windows were good. The regulators were good. If we applied 12v directly to each motor they would work. So its not the windows. Tracks or regulators.

We replaced the master window switch with a known working one and same problem. Persists so its not the master switch.

Then we tested for fuses. All fuses check out. The only thing we noticed is that we were not getting power from the fuse block to the windows.

So I ordered this part on ebay and when I first replaced it. My car wouldn't start because of the anti theft system. I had to call a locksmith to come in and reprogram my keys!

In this video, I’ll show you exactly how I diagnosed and fixed the issue where none of the power windows were working on my 8th Gen Honda Civic. No movement from the master switch or individual door switches, even though all the window motors, fuses, and regulators tested good.

The cause? A short in the interior fuse block.

There was no power passing through to the master switch, even though:

Master window switch was good

Window motors and regulators were good

All fuses were tested and working

Wiring showed continuity

The fix: We replaced the interior fuse block and reprogrammed the key to match. After that, all the windows worked perfectly again!
