- Valentine’s Day

Yesterday, The STORM Foundation delivered bags with chocolate treats to the Harris County Youth Services Center children’s shelter so the kids would get a surprise for Valentine’s Day.

We do this each year along with providing treats for Easter 🐣, 4th of July 🇺🇸, Halloween 🎃, and Christmas 🎄

- Christmas 🎄 Shopping

Stopped by Five Below and purchased a lot a balls and two air pumps for the children at the Harris County Youth Services Children’s Shelter.

The children there have to spend the holidays without family and their friends so each year we make a visit to deliver lots of gifts 🎁 and chocolate treats to brighten up their day.

This evening, I went to the store and bought $100 worth of candy and treats. I came home and filled 10 bags with the items and put nice filler paper on the top.

The bags are 4th of July themed that I ordered over a month ago. The red, white and blue papers make the candy bags look festive for the holiday.

On the 4th of July, I will deliver these bags to the children in the Harris County Youth Services Center shelter for children on behalf of The STORM Foundation and its’ Board Members.

We love giving these kids a treat when some may have forgotten about them.

- Easter 🐣 Gifts 🎁

Last week, I ordered some Easter 🐣 bags, then bought lots of Easter 🐣 candy, including large chocolate bunnies 🐰 to stuff those bags with.

Yesterday, I spent some time preparing 15 Easter 🐣 Treat bags. Today, Jeff and I delivered 10 of those bags to the Harris County Youth Services Center, which is a Children’s Shelter for disadvantaged youth.

It is our third or fourth year of doing this for those kids. Doing something for children that no one else is thinking about gives our charity foundation board members a good feeling.

On the way home from lunch, Jeff and I handed out the remaining 5 treat bags to the homeless on street corners. They were thrilled to be thought about.

When we help others, we are honoring God and Jesus. We enjoy thinking of others and making a difference in people’s lives that don’t have much.
