Ongoing leaks, standing water, drainage issues, and rising energy costs were becoming a concern for the Rialto Police Department. Instead of an expensive tear off that would disrupt day to day operations, the department opted for a restoration. Bell Roof Co. utilized Everest Systems' Opticell 2.7 and Evercoat EC to address the problems.
Bell Roof Co. eliminated the leaks, corrected drainage issues, and created a watertight roofing system built for long term performance. Opticell 2.7 helped to reduce heat transfer and air leakage, meaning the building required less energy to stay comfortable throughout the year. Lower energy use translates to lower greenhouse gas emissions, making this project a win for both the facility and the environment.
Some projects go beyond reducing waste and energy use. This one helped keep an essential public service running smoothly for years to come.

Saint Mary’s HR office had a consistent leak issue over the past few years. CTR Roofing - Northern NV used AF Cleaner Concentrate, Everseal, EverStitch, Evertread and Silkoxy H3 to address the problem.
Cracks and splits in the field and seam plates were the primary leak source . The new Silkoxy High Solids Silicone system was installed over a degraded PVC membrane. An EverTread Silkoxy Pre-Cured Silicone Walkpads path installation was the finishing touch for the 6400 sq. ft. project.

Silicone coatings like Silkoxy by Everest Systems over a bleed-block primer are a standard approach for restoring modified bitumen roofs.
Adhesion: When the surface is properly cleaned and primed, silicone will bond reliably to aged mod bit. The bleed-block layer also helps control asphalt bleed-through and improves coating performance over time.
Movement / flexibility: Silicone coatings are elastomeric, so they can handle normal thermal expansion and contraction of asphalt roofs without becoming brittle. That helps limit cracking compared to more rigid systems.
Weathering: Silicone has strong UV resistance and maintains physical properties longer than many acrylic coatings.
Water resistance: One of the main advantages is that silicone holds5 up well under ponding water, where other coatings tend to degrade.
V***r permeability:These systems are not fully vapor-open, but they do allow some moisture transmission, which can help reduce blistering if minor moisture is present in the substrate.
Overall, it’s a proven system when the roof is a good candidate (dry, structurally sound, properly prepped).
