Day 7 of TNMF2025

Last night was the premiere of my new piece "The Clockwork City" for Chamber Ensemble. I'll be making another post when I post the recording!

Today started with a 2 hour composer career lecture by Rob Smith on how to get fame and fortune for the young composer. In a little bit, there's going to be a Composer Lecture by B.P. Herrington!

Day 6 of TNMF2025. It started off with a composer lecture by . Next, is the flute workshop with Meg Griffith! I wrote a piece called "Whispers of the Forest". I'll be getting a recording of it in the next couple of weeks!!

Finally, tonight is the premier of my brand new piece "The Clockwork City" for Chamber Ensemble!

Day 5 of TNMF2025 started with the penultimate rehearsal for "The Clockwork City" conducted the amazing . It will be premiered tomorrow night by the Texas New Music Ensemble! Next was a composer lecture by . Hard to believe the week is already almost over here at TNMF.

I am honored to have the opportunity to compose music for an upcoming music festival in Texas, a significant milestone in my musical journey. However, to make this possible, I am seeking support to help cover travel, accommodations, and related expenses.
