I wanted to share Last Sand with you. A sunbaked figure sits astride a beached dolphin, looking toward the turquoise line where sea meets sky, while a procession of dark fish-shaped forms arcs away along the pale sand. Warm ochres and strong blacks give the scene a tactile, grounded feeling, and small details like the emblem on the hat, the tilt of the single white bloom, and the scuffs on the boots suggest a story that is part ritual, part report.
