$22 Breakfast Sandwich Maker Still Going Strong After 4 Years – Beat $25 Fast Food

I’ve had this little Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker for over four years. Paid about $22 for it and have easily made hundreds of sandwiches on it.
My go-to: A Costco egg, one strip of bacon, an English muffin, and a slice of cheese — total cost under a dollar per sandwich.
Compare that to spending $25 at a fast food place for two basic bagels… it just doesn’t make sense anymore.

Dramatic footage from Lower Manhattan: A vehicle (reported as an MTA SUV, possibly hybrid) caught fire and exploded into a massive fireball near Wall Street’s iconic Charging Bull statue on Tuesday evening, May 19, 2026.
The incident happened around 5:42 p.m. near Broadway and Stone Street, right outside MTA headquarters. Thick black smoke filled the area during rush hour, sending pedestrians running for safety. Firefighters responded quickly and brought it under control after about 90 minutes.
