Well the good news is I spent a few hours dismantling the interior of the Lanche and still didn’t repair the stereo or the blend door. I’ll get the blend door in the morning l, there’s just one particular screw I’m having trouble getting a bead on but I’ll be damned if I take the console out to get to it.

If per chance I entered the right assortment of numbers and modern hieroglyphics into this magic box in my hands the correct harnesses and various accoutrement for the stereo will find its way to my door. Or it’ll be the wrong stuff altogether and I’ll stand in my driveway a while and impotently raise hell about it. Either way, tomorrow’s gonna be a humdinger.

Because I’m a saucy fellow I also advocated for the clothes dryer to break its drive band as has become our yearly custom, so I’ve added that onto tomorrow Jerry’s back as well.

I did however get the seat heater to stop coming on by itself. Forever.

I’m calling that a win.

I just found out that the same engineer responsible for the GT40 also designed the Eagle and the XJ, the two vehicles that just about every modern automobile is a copy of.

If I could time travel I would go to 1967 and Tonya Harding his hands right after the gt40 before he could ruin cars forever.
