Working from home has its benefits but at times I find it difficult to switch off my mind from the office-saga even when I have logged off from my laptop.And today was one such day, when after non-stop back to back virtual meetings, I was still thinking about meetings and project deadlines. I really needed some quite evening time today without thinking about office. So pampered myself with a cup of chamomile cranberry green tea with an ocean-scented candle and some flowers. This made my evening and definitely helped me to change gears mentally from my busy office-mode!
Have you been in similar situation when you have physically logged off from the computer but have been mentally still online?
How do you shift gears between office and home when you are working from home?

Last couple of days has been a little messy and busy with work. But, after several cups of strong tea, lots of discussion with colleagues and some head scratching moments...I can say I have learnt a few lessons on how to deal with 'uncertainty' patiently and still keep my 'calm'.

And finally today, while I was enjoying my third steep of Frosted Oolong from Darjeeling with my friend..I found this beautiful bud-leaf in my cup...and I couldn't resist but take its photo. And an instant realization that inspite of all the work-pressure and daily grinding, these small little joys like sharing a cup of tea with your friend is what makes life so beautiful. It was such an epiphany moment for me today.

P.S. This frosted winter oolong tea from Darjeeling has a fresh aroma with fruity flavours of green apple, olive, pear and vanilla. I will say every steep was dominated by the flavour of one fruit over the other.

And the after effect of this oolong tea is my insta-post after a hiatus of almost three weeks. 😊
