YES I AM AT WORK TODAY 🤷🏻‍♀️ Navigating life miles away from my childhood friends—the ones I went to school with, played soccer with, and built lifelong memories with—is no small feat. As an immigrant, daily challenges often seem insurmountable, especially without the right tools or familiar faces. But despite having no blood relatives here except for my daughter and nephews, I’m uplifted by the love of my chosen family.

To anyone else out there feeling the weight of this journey, I see you, even if we’ve never met. And to those fortunate to have never had to leave their homeland, remember kindness can bridge worlds.
