As the whole world goes into quarantine... people stuck at home... and the economy slowing down, it reminds me of the financial crash of 2008/2009.
In 2009, I quit my well-paying job to start my own business.
It was a move that most of my friends and family members qualified as stupid and crazy.
But I had come to a point where I had to make a decision.
This decision first came to my mind in 2008 after the financial crash hit.
At the time I was working with a big multinational with a big salary.
As the company was downsizing, I saw my colleagues (one after the other) lose their jobs, and I knew I could be next.
I had no savings. I was confused. I knew I was hard working but now my destiny was hanging in the hands of people I call my employers.
Any day could be my turn in the barrel. I could be the next person my creepy boss lady calls and delivers the bad news.
I felt helpless and worried.
And from that moment, the thought of quitting my job and starting my own business and taking control of my future became the focus... and soon later an obsession.
But I was afraid to do it. I had no savings. I had no business experience. I was scared to my bone.
And I struggled with that decision from 2008 right into 2009.
Then one blessed Thursday night, I read chapter 8 of the book Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill - the Chapter on DECISION.
Then I finally found the answer I was looking for.
The next day I wrote my resignation letter and quit.
I decided to start from scratch and work my way up like most of the millionaires and billionaires quoted in the book.
My first business was personal development seminars. I failed terribly in that business because I didn't know how to get people to fill the rooms.
Then next, I started a resume-writing and interview coaching business. That too failed because I couldn't get enough customers to grow.
Those two failures introduced me to the world of digital marketing where I was forced to learn the art and science of getting customers for any business.
Fast forward 10 years later, I'm now a master at getting customers for businesses.
I now teach people how to become highly paid digital marketing consultants, helping businesses get customers.
And needless to say I get paid handsomely for doing so.
If you can bring a business paying customers, they'll gladly give you a good portion of those revenues every time.
And so your price is only limited by how many customers you can bring.
And with social media, using ads like this, you can get an unlimited number of customers predictably and profitably, if you know how.
And you can do this from anywhere in the world just from your computer and internet connection.

No danger here folks... this was long before social distancing.
This was on Dec 31st, 2019... New Year's Eve.
And I was having fun with friends... showing some of my dancing moves, as we were happily expecting a great new year 2020.
Who would have thought we will be locked down inside our homes by now?
I know just like me, you too are probably missing the good old days when we were enjoying social mingling.
But the great lesson here for me is, we have to always enjoy every moment and make the best of it while it lasts.
Now that I'm stuck at home, my focus is to get as much valuable work done for my clients, for my students, and for my business.
When this all ends (and it definitely will), my question for you is:
What will you become after this crisis is over?
In 2009, after the 2008 global financial crisis, I quit my well-paying job to start my own business.
It was a move that most of my friends and family members qualified as stupid and crazy.
