Celebrating 6 Years of Healing, Hope & Human Dignity – Support Clubhouse Ghana 🌱(CHG)

Six years ago, in the heart of Accra, Ghana, a vision began through the support of a Houston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit: to create a safe, empowering space for individuals living with mental health conditions. Today, that vision is Clubhouse Ghana—the first-ever Clubhouse-franchised Mental Health Rehabilitation Center in West Africa—and we joyfully celebrate our 6th Anniversary. 🎉

But this is more than a celebration. It’s a global call for compassion—especially as Clubhouse Ghana (CHG) has now been officially recognized as a Rotary International Service Project for 2025.

As the world continues to grapple with the effects of COVID-19, ongoing wars, and rising instability, the mental health crisis is worsening. The WHO reports a 25% global surge in depression and anxiety. And in West Africa, access to basic therapy or connection remains rare.

Clubhouse Ghana is changing that narrative—life by life.

🌱 What We Do

At CHG, we don’t say “patients.” We say Members—because we believe in belonging over labels. With 13 staff and 22 in-patient Members (plus many more outpatient), we operate under our E-E-H Model: Education, Employment, Housing.

Our Members are not defined by diagnosis—they are future artisans, chefs, skilled workers, gardeners, artists, and students also involved in apprenticeships. They’re healing not through confinement, but community.

💡 Why This Year Matters

This year, Clubhouse Ghana’s impact is being recognized on a global stage—as a Service Project of Rotary E-Club of Houston, District 5890. This milestone confirms what we’ve always known: Clubhouse Ghana is a model of sustainable, human-centered care.

We’ve raised nearly $19,000, but we need your help to meet our 2024–2025 goals. Your support provides:

✔️ Dignity, purpose, and a second chance at life
