Mortgage applications fell 10.4% for the week ending March 27, the third straight weekly decline, as rates climbed to 6.38%, the highest in more than six months, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association. Purchase applications dropped 3% week over week but remain 1% above year-ago levels. Refinance applications fell 17% but are still 33% higher than a year ago.
