Hopkins Raspberry Festival Royalty

“Hello everyone! I am Hopkins Raspberry Festival Princess Violet Lasley, and today I wanted to touch on one of our five pillars — teamwork. Teamwork, defined as the shared responsibility, trust, and collaboration between individuals, is something that Citlalli, Catherine, and I find ourselves practicing all the time. Whether it ranges from small things like bobby pinning each other’s hair to important tasks such as managing our crown project, teamwork is something we can never practice enough.

In the royalty community, it is so important that we use teamwork each time we attend an event or visit another community, making sure that everyone feels welcomed and has an enjoyable time. Even outside of royalty, teamwork can be applied to our everyday lives. To me, teamwork is a practice that requires trust and willingness, which truly sets a strong foundation in every aspect of life.”

Purpose, Integrity, Teamwork, Courage and Humility. These are the 5 pillars that we believe are essential in creating strong community leaders.

These pillars are first introduced during candidacy and then continue to be our focus during the Royal year. Starting this week Princess Violet, Princess Catherine and Queen Citlalli will be sharing with you how they have incorporated these pillars throughout their year so far!
