A huge shoutout to Buildwave for bringing their STEM program to Foster Care Essentials. Families had an opportunity to work together, challenge themselves, and discover creativity they didn't know they had - adults included! Everyone left with a summer swag bag and a building kit from Buildwave. A special thank you to Hopedale Community House for hosting us and George's Coney Island for donating snacks.

Wow - what an exciting afternoon for Foster Care Essentials! We are incredibly grateful to Pat F. of the Alternatives for Youth, Inc., a supporting foundation for the Key Program, for nominating us to be one of the recipients of a $10,000 award.

The Key Program assists at-risk youth and their families with developing positive life skills, so they may pursue productive and rewarding lives. We are honored to have been chosen as one of 16 organizations to receive this meaningful affirmation of the impact we are having in the community.
