Most “credit repair” people wouldn’t dare let you see their credit scores. You know why?? Because it’s usually not good. You can’t sell a service if you don’t even live by it. I said what I said 🗣️

I’m about to be transparent. When we were starting the process of buying our house my credit wasn’t horrible but it needed to be a little higher than what it was. I already knew there were some things I needed to handle but I was just being lazy. For the record, I didn’t have any charge offs..I had one collection from a cable bill that did not belong to me and the rest was debt management (DTI related).

After I paid off credit cards and got the collection removed my scores significantly increased and my profile looked AMAZING!

Well after we closed on the house and that loan hit my credit..we started swiping cards to furnish the house so those balances went back up..my scores plummeted 📉. I mean from mid 700s down to mid 500s.

Just being honest…I wasn’t in a rush to get the scores back up. We had the house…my car was paid off and again, it just wasn’t a priority at the moment 🤷🏽‍♀️.

I check my credit EVERY day 50 times a day. I got tired of those ugly scores looking at me so I have been aggressively paying down credit cards and my scores have gone back up 📈. I’m not where I want to be but I’m headed there.

I’m sharing all of this so you’ll know that I’m not one of those people that talk the talk but I’m walking it and living it. I DO THIS 💪🏽!
