This is my great great great-grandfather, John Thompson.
He got the oppurtunity to take care of Martin Harris, one of the three witnesses of The Book of Mormon, as his health decreased towards the end of his life. One day as John was taking care of Martin when three men showed up and asked Martin if he believed The Book of Mormon was true. Martin pointed to a chopping block outside the home and said, "Before I would deny The Book of Mormon I would lay my head on this chopping block and let it be cut off!"
How have you shown faith in your life?
This is a story about a faithful woman named Ann Maria Bailey. She had a lot of struggles but chose to hold on to the only constant in her life, Jesus Christ and His gospel.
Family History is so important because it ties us to our ancestors and shows us ways to be better ourselves! They can be such amazing examples for us today :))

Jesus Christ is represented by a lot of things. The cross, the stone, the star, etc. Those are very powerful symbols of stages in His life. He is the Savior of the world who was born of Mary, suffered for our sins, was crucified on the cross, and then resurrected three days later.
