If you wanted to run a marathon, you wouldn’t ask for advice from someone that runs 5ks, you’d ask a marathon runner.

Seek guidance from other mothers that have been in your shoes before, they’ve been through the hardest parts of breastfeeding and kept going. They understand you and they want you to succeed just as much as you want to.

There are thousands of ways to bond that don’t include feeding.

I have a lot of new moms come to me that are worried about when to fit pumping in because their partners need to feed the baby in order to bond with them. You don’t NEED to pump if you’re breastfeeding. Feed your baby on demand and don’t worry about fitting time in to pump a bottle. Your partner will find ways to bond with baby with everything other than feeding.

Stop stressing yourself out thinking you need to pump asap, because you don’t. ✨💕
