It's been a hot and humid day across the state, and the heat isn't over yet! A Heat Advisory remains in effect until 8 p.m., with heat-index values near 100 degrees in some areas.

Whether you spent the day working outside, exercising, at the beach, or in the woods, continue drinking water, take time to cool down, and pay attention to how you’re feeling. Symptoms of heat exhaustion can include heavy sweating, dizziness, nausea, weakness, muscle cramps, and extreme thirst.

Granite State Physical Therapy was proud to take part in the Beech Street Elementary School Career Fair in Manchester on April 24, our first year participating in this event.

Our athletic trainers, Julia and Bethany, had the opportunity to connect with 4th grade students, sharing what they do and how they help people stay active, recover from injuries, and perform at their best. Events like this are a great reminder of how curious and engaged students are when they’re introduced to new ideas and career paths.
