May Day 2025 in Vermont was a day to celebrate!

Proposal 3, a constitutional amendment to enshrine the right to collective bargaining passed the Vermont Senate today 29-0! After passing both chambers last biennium, it now makes it’s way to the Vermont House for consideration. Once through the house it will be a ballot question for Vermonter's to decide in 2026.
