💙REMEMBER KAILON TYNDZIK💙
Waimea High School
Our friend Kailon Tyndzik was hit by a reckless driver on February 12th, 2025. He was 30 years old when his life was taken unexpectedly & horrifically by someone who failed to render aid…
Our team is impacted greatly by the tragic death of Kailon Tyndzik. We are currently painting a new “Drive with Aloha” Mural at Waimea High School on Kaua’i, our 20th installation within the program, at almost the exact same time as Kauai High School last year. In 2025, we were devastated to learn that Kailon was hit during, less than one mile from the school as we were doing the program.
As victim advocates, we are doing our best to share life-saving information with the students of Waimea High School while working together on a collaborative mural with the community.
Mahalo nui to Laycie W. for your bravery & strength to share how much Kailon impacted the community & the hope for all the keiki he mentored to share “mauka to makai” activities with future generations.
Mahalo nui Kauai Police Department (Traffic Division), Coach Bobby& Ho’okele Coalition for all your support & wisdom that you shared with the students.
Impaired driving crashes & deaths are 100% avoidable; no one should have to bury their children. Please make good choices and stay safe.

💙 HANNAH BROWN 💙
Maui High School
“Hannah Brown was killed by a drunk driver on June 23, 2019. She was only 19 years old when her life was taken unexpectedly… She had so much life & was always so happy. You would never go a day without seeing her smiling. She enjoyed being around our family & canoe paddling. One of my greatest memory of Hannah is watching her graduate from high school. She worked so hard for it & made us so very proud. As her parents, we ask that you don’t get behind the wheel & drive if you decide to drink. Get a taxi, ride share or ask someone who hasn’t been drinking to be your designated driver. It’s not worth you taking your life or an innocent victim like Hannah! Too many families have to live a life sentence of not being able to see their loved one.”
- Charlene & Everett Brown -
We dedicate the Drive with Aloha mural program to all who have tragically lost a loved one & to the surviving friends & ‘ohana.
Mahalo nui to Charlene & Everett Brown for your bravery & strength to speak to the students & for your activism to stop impaired driving in Maui. During the program, students learn information regarding impaired driving prevention from victims advocates & prevention specialist to empower themselves to spread the message into their community .
Mahalo nui Maui Police Department & Maui Coalition for Drug-free Youth.

🚨 KAILON TYNDZIK needs your help; he is currently in critical condition !!! 🚨 GOFUNDME in Bio!
Unfortunately, on Wednesday, February 12th at approximately 8:30pm, Kailon Tyndzik, who just celebrated his 30th birthday with loved ones, was struck by a reckless driver at high speed & left at the scene. The driver did not render aid & was later arrested on February 14th. The Keep it Flowing team was informed by one of our own members, who was frantic that her family was struck by the driver, no less than a 1/8 of a mile from Kaua’i High School. All while the team is currently painting the Drive with Aloha mural. The suspect has a long history for a variety of crimes & was driving in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods for traffic fatalities.
Thankfully, a witness to the accident called first responders who were on the scene within minutes & Kailon was medivacted to Oahu by 1am the next morning. He’s currently in critical condition, unresponsive & requires a ventilator, but surrounded by loved ones & hearing all our prayers.
Today, the Keep it Flowing Team is working on their 10th Drive with Aloha Mural in PRAYER with hopes of full recovery of Kailon Tyndzik. Please support Kailon Tyndzik’s Ohana with prayers & by supporting the GoFundMe: “Give back to Kailon who has given to ALL!” Link in bio…
