Honolulu & Leeward’s Church Annual Thanksgiving

With grateful hearts, the congregation of Honolulu and Leeward came together—a sacred time of reflection, celebration, and giving back to the Lord for His unceasing protection, provision, and faithfulness throughout the year. The event served as a profound reminder of God’s unwavering grace and our calling to live in gratitude and service.

The program was beautifully coordinated and began with Sis. Melissa Dela Cruz, head Minister of the Leeward locale, as our Master of Ceremonies, setting a spirit of reverence and joy. A spirit-led Praise and Worship was led by Sis. Hana Lei Paraan, lifting our voices in unity to glorify God. Elder Max Cristobal then opened the gathering with a prayer, dedicating the service to the Lord.

Presbyter Gallagher Concepcion, Head Coordinator of the Western Pacific District, extended a heartfelt welcome, inviting everyone to reflect on the purpose and significance of our Thanksgiving celebration and expressing the heart behind this special occasion. Sis. Gretchen Coloma led us in the Scripture Reading, grounding the program in the truth of God's Word.

The Offertory message, a meaningful act of giving, was also led by Presbyter Gallagher Concepcion, followed by a touching Song of Praise rendered by Firebrand, stirring the hearts of all in attendance.

The pinnacle moment of the service was the message ministered by our beloved Canada District Coordinator, Presbyter Joseph Concepcion. Through the preaching of the Word, he stirred our hearts with a reminder of God’s unwavering faithfulness and our continual calling to live lives that honor Him. He shared the Godly reasons for thanksgiving—including the spiritual blessings of salvation, the gift of the Church, the blessings of family and life. He emphasized that true thanksgiving is expressed through worship—by giving worth to God, showing reverence and awe, and putting Him first in all our ways.

Together, we gave thanks not only in word and worship but in offering, testimony, and shared faith—proclaiming that all glory belongs to God for the year that was and the year to come.
