We are pleased to announce today that the U.S. Internal Revenue Service granted Save Raja Ampat Foundation tax exempt status as a 501(c)(3) public charity. What this means for you is that you are now able to make contributions to support our work improving the livelihoods of communities in Raja Ampat, Indonesia by making a tax-deductible contributions. Donors can now deduct monetary or in-kind gifts they make to the foundation from their U.S. income taxes under Internal Revenue Code Section 170. We hope this will provide a win-win for you, our work, and the people and ecosystems of Raja Ampat.

We are happy to say that we have just completed our application for official tax-exempt status with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Soon we will be able to offer those of you in the United States tax write-off's for your financial donations.
