When I asked my nephew what cake he wanted for his 4th birthday, I was ready for a chaotic theme that matched his chaotic personality. Instead, he looked me square in the eye and simply said “balloons”.

My nephew, who just turned 7, asked for a Ludwig Von Koopa cake and I said “haha of course, buddy” and then immediately ran straight to google. Regardless, nothing brings me more joy as an aunt than being the designated birthday caker baker maker. ❤️

I knew the rules for paint by numbers were simple, but I didn’t know the satisfaction it would provide. Despite this project testing my patience (as well as my astigmatism), I’m so proud of myself! 10/10 - highly recommend.

Looking forward to gifting this to my nephew.
