Studio 909: Jazz Up Close and Personal in Honolulu I'm not sure why it took us so long, but our first visit to Studio 909 has us hooked. If the performance by the Dmitri Matheny Group on August 30 was any measure, we look forward eagerly to what lies ahead....

THANK YOU everyone who came to the fundraiser at Greens & Vines yesterday. A good time was had by all (including delicious foodand wine!), and we are a good piece closer to relaunching our series. Special thanks to Jimmy Borges, Jim Howard, Dean Taba, Peter Factora, Rockford Holmes, and the many folks who swung by to sit in. What a testament to the live jazz community in our town!
