Growing lettuce 5 feet above the ground to avoid slugs and snails…. Cool weather brings lush manoa lettuce!

Another first timer… in kaimuki… started 3 weeks ago… grew her own starters, maintained the nutrient water levels, gave her tube morning 4-5 hours of sun.. and the just harvested 6 heads of manoa lettuce to share with her family! She has 3 week babies which should mature in 2-3 weeks. Great job
