How often do you sweep or mop??

It would be hard to recommend a frequency for sweeeping as all homes are different.

Do you have pets?
Do you leave your shoes at the door?
Are there young children in the home?
The number of peope in the home?
How much mess can you tolerate?

The last one especially as you may have a clean freak who will sweep at the sight of a single spec on the floors then there are others who may be so busy with their daily lives so they'll have to wait on a day off.

I usually sweep atleast once a week unless we made a mess. Thats usually whenever we cook.

If it seems like too much to take on. Just do one room at a time. Take small wins and build the momentum from that feeling of accomplishment.
