Glory View Church

We wanted to take a moment to thank everyone that helped support our little project making "praise packs" for our Friday night kiddos. We've been back down at the church for two weeks now and the kiddos are LOVING having the activities in the bags! We are so grateful to be able to provide these for the kids that come through our doors and we know the parents are thankful too!

I know our scheduled calendar just posted this morning but we do have a bit of a lengthy update. The church is still without water. Pastor Jamie met with a plumber earlier this week to try to thaw the line. This was unsuccessful. At this point we do not know if the line is still frozen or if there is another issue. We were told to wait a couple more weeks for the ground to continue to thaw. We also checked into alternative options such as Porta Pottys but the ongoing cost is prohibitive at this time. The plan then is to continue to meet at the Parsonage, however our kiddos have passed a stomach bug around this week and we have one more that is still in the trenches of tummy troubles. We are going to cancel this Friday night and focus on getting her well and getting our house back to germ free. Then we hope to see everyone on Sunday for Asian cuisine! We apologize for this change and thank you for understanding as we navigate this interesting season. You are loved and valued!

Children's Bible Quizzing is over for the season but we still have a few weeks left before we dismiss our Sunday evening study for the summer. Tonight we will meet for a meal at 5 and bible study at 6pm.
