I see that visitors have been stopping by my old charter page. Ivory Queen Charters was shut down in the Halibut moratorium of 2011. Upon consulting a Federal lawyer and realizing that even a well established “Grandfathered in” case and very winnable case would cost me too much to win against NOAA in Federal court. The Ivory Queen sinking literally the same month as moratorium... My charter days were over.

At present We are gearing up to entertain guests in 2019 out on Perl Island. If you fished with me on the Ivory Queen, you have likely been near Perl. If you are interested in joining us again for Alaskan adventures, send me a message.

June trippers...watch for our gold prospecting trips. I have become friends with a placer gold prospector who is willing to set us up! Fishing and gold on the outer coast and Kodiak Island Archipelago...We are currently planning a run in March to check out deposits.
