While the badger was seemingly more interested in what I was doing, the coyote snuck up behind him and gave him a jolt, probably hoping that he'd join him on a hunt.

One of my favorite experiences from this past trip was spending time with a coyote and badger in Lamar Valley. These two species are known for collaboratively hunting together; however, in this instance, it seemed the coyote was frustrated that the badger didn't want to join.

Another great trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons in the books 🏞️ Probably took about a thousand photos of my favorite waterfowl in the parks, so might as well start with this guy. I love playing with different shutter speeds, and they provide a great break when the big mammals are elusive.
