Last new episode of Occasional Table airs tonight - it’s one of my favorite annual shows to produce and always around the turn of the new year - space age cocktail, retro lounge, vintage synth, tiki and old timey tunes- Occasional Exotica. Big news from Occasional Table: After tonight’s episode, I’m going to produce one more show at the turn of the new year, then I’m turning in my headphones. It’s been such an honor and pleasure to curate the show for this community over the last 7 years. It’s been an expression of my love for this community and that love is massive. Thank you so much for listening to KBBI AM 890. Thank you for reaching out to me about the show over the years- about the show you loved, the song you had to finish before getting out of your car, the new music you heard, and the old favorites that shined in a different light. It’s bittersweet when a good journey comes to an end. I’m ready for the next expression of this time in my life but I’m mourning the end of this chapter at the same time.
