Can't tell you how excited I am to be able to perform at Sacred Acre three years now. I have to be 100% real. This is bitter sweet for me. I have so many friends that didn't make the cut and that is very hard.
Many who I feel are better than me. It's like that. But... I know this much and well it's hard to hear..but sometimes a denial makes you even stronger.
To those of you not on this roster. Dust yourself off and try again. Make a better pitch of yourself. It's not 100% about your skill on those decks. It's about how you conduct yourself on and off the stage. Do you treat your work like a business? Do you spend time or money marketing yourself? Where is your social media following?
Unfortunately all of those things in this day and age...matters.
If you can simply make your EPK/Pitch better you're going to make yourself more competitive not just here in Alaska but everywhere else.
Never give up and honestly. Give yourself. Volunteer. Meet people. Love everyone you are around.
That's what's contagious. That's what get's the ticket.
I love ya'll and I'm sorry but also not sorry because I know ya'll gonna grow. It just sucks we ain't on this same ticket... ugh.

I am absolutely thrilled to be able to bring out Stix2Stone with BrooksTheWook and I. Stone is a dear friend of mine and about 2 years ago he was toying around with djing at a friend's house. He'd been at it prior...
Anyhow he's been cooking ever since and so I am truly excited to see what he's got to say on his decks...
As per Brooks. Psh. He gonna slay as always and its always a true pleasure to play with him.
Our schedule will be Stix2Stone opening at 10pm. I'll take over about 11:30 or when Stone says it's good..then we follow up for a late night Okeechobee-fed BrooksTheWook on the 1am start.
Be ready to go guys....I've been working at doing stem mixing for years now and I'm finally 1000% ready to bring it out. I can say there's gonna be some mistakes but glorious victories as well!!
