Good News Update from Miana and Terry:

When we conceived of Farm Kitchen Workshop, our goal was to create a space to celebrate local farms, food, and craft. We didn't know exactly how this would look, but that commitment guides all of our decisions, big or small.

When serendipity recently had us in a conversation with our friends Liz and Tim from about their need to explore new options for café space, it was easy for us to invite them to join us at Farm Kitchen Workshop.

With that, we're thrilled to announce that in July, Libretto Café will join us in our new space in Easthampton as tenants, offering their existing menu with great potential for future expansion using local produce. Their delicious offerings will satisfy customers looking for counter service, and will also expand our facility's overall potential.

To keep the experience seamless, we'll use a shared service model. Guests will order and pay through the Farm Shop — breakfast and lunch from Libretto, coffee or ready-to-eat foods, an espresso, or what's in season from local produce and our greens, all in one place.

The Main Hall will continue to be a relaxed space for a meal, remote work, or a visit with a friend. Our event schedule rolls out as planned, now with more room for creative collaborations.

Our hours remain the same: Mon-Fri 7 AM-6 PM (café service ends at 2 PM). Saturdays we now open an hour earlier, at 8 AM, with morning coffee, café service, and Farm Shop grab-and-go. Libretto joining us is just one more reason to add us to your weekly routine!

As Liz and Tim shared when announcing their move to Easthampton: "...sometimes the universe presents an opportunity at just the right time that makes it all seem like it was meant to be..." We couldn't agree more.

Hello, friends! We’re sharing a small piece of some big news today. In July, we will be moving the café to Easthampton. Saturday will be our last day of service in Holyoke. This is a bittersweet moment for us.

We truly love Holyoke and our space in it—Tim and I have put a lot of love into making the café the cozy spot that so many of you have been enjoying since we opened in February. We had intended to sign a longterm lease here and remain a neighborhood spot. However, things on the building/event space side have changed since we originally set up shop here. We ultimately decided we weren’t comfortable with the new arrangement and needed to make the best decision for our business and our livelihood.

And sometimes, the universe presents an opportunity at just the right time that makes it all seem like it was meant to be. This move will allow us to flex our creative muscles and offer events and programming that align with our mission of building a food community and being patrons of the arts.

Libretto Café will continue to serve breakfast and lunch sandwiches on our freshly baked focaccia, our cornetti, and Monsoon Roastery’s espresso and cold brew just over the mountain. There will also be some delicious menu updates featuring local summer produce.

We’re hoping to be open by mid- or late-July. We’ll be sharing specifics real soon.

Thank you so much to everyone who has come through our Holyoke location. Your enthusiasm and kind words for us and our food has meant the world to us. Opening this café has been a dream come true and we’re very excited for what’s coming next.

We’ll be open 8am-12pm tomorrow (Sat June 20) and closing early for a private event. Breakfast sammies all day, lunch Sammie’s starting at 10am, and no fried chicken or tofu, we’ll have those again on Tuesday!

We are sold out for the day! We still have coffee, muffins, & lemon olive oil cakes if you need a snack. We’ll be back on Thursday for breakfast and lunch!

This week we will be closed on Wednesday for a private event. We’re open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8am-2pm!

There are also a few tickets left to our Ephemeral Pop-up Dinner in Easthampton. We’re cohosting with our friends at Pause & Pivot Farm in their new Farm Kitchen Workshop! Tickets are $75/person and included four courses and wine.

The menu explores the fleeting abundance of late spring and early summer. It features lamb kofta, falafel, chicken thighs with lemons and olives and a heap of complementary flavors like our house made hummus and raita. We’ll also be baking focaccia and piadinas (Italian flat bread) and a delicious twist on our lemon olive oil cakes for dessert.

We had so much fun hanging out with The Reset Fitness for the muffin part of their Muffins & Murals event today! Thank you to everyone who braved the weather to explore our city's gorgeous art and enjoy some snacks and drinks with us in the café.
