Colonic irrigation, colonic hydrotherapy is used for cleaning out the colon.
Water, sometimes with additives such as vitamins, probiotics, enzymes, or herbs, is pumped through the colon, flushing out its contents. In some cases, the therapist may massage the client's abdomen.
Once the procedure is completed, the client sits on a toilet for several minutes until a full evacuation of the bowel is completed.
The entire session generally takes approximately 45 minutes.
