Election day is almost upon us! Just two more days. Please consider reviewing my posts or sending me messages if you would like to learn more about my platform or myself. I have been a business owner in Holly Ridge for several years and want nothing more than to see this town proceed with a positive future.

If the Town of Holly Ridge received a hypothetical grant of $5,000,000, I would use it towards building a water tower in Holly Ridge. If there were to be any spare funding left over, I would put the rest of it towards improving our parking at the town park. We unfortunately have one of the most limited parking areas for a great aspect of our community and it is underwhelming. As for our water supply, it is a topic I feel strongly on working towards and will do my very best to make it come to fruition if I am elected Mayor.
These are two improvements I would focus on with a grant of this porportion.
If elected, I will:
✅ Lead with transparency and integrity, making sure residents always know what’s happening and why.
✅ Unite our community by listening to everyone — not just a select few — and finding common ground even when we disagree.
✅ Ensure responsible growth that protects our small-town character, infrastructure, and natural environment.
✅ Keep taxes low by managing spending wisely and holding every department accountable for how public funds are used.
✅ Seek grant funding and partnerships to improve town facilities without placing extra burdens on taxpayers.
✅ Promote local businesses and events that strengthen our local economy and bring people together.
✅ Foster open communication between Town Hall and residents through regular updates, community meetings, and accessible leadership.
✅ Encourage civic involvement, so more residents have a voice in shaping Holly Ridge’s future.
✅ Make decisions based on facts, fairness, and long-term stability — not politics or special interests.
If elected, I’d like to establish a Holly Ridge Welcome Center — a community hub that celebrates who we are and helps guide where we’re going.
✅ It will honor and promote the rich history of Holly Ridge, including our military roots and unique heritage.
✅ Boost tourism by giving travelers along Highway 17 a reason to stop, explore, and spend locally.
✅ Highlight our local shops, restaurants, and small businesses through displays and community events.
✅ Offer resources for new residents and a welcoming space for civic groups and visitors alike.
✅ And it would be funded entirely through grants — not local tax dollars.
A Welcome Center would strengthen community pride, preserve our past, and open new doors for Holly Ridge’s future.
