Shout out to our Staff Member of the Month, Jeff Lovingood. He is always busy behind the scenes. He makes sure that our football team is fed and has everything they need to be successful. He helps with senior events and our musical. He played a critical role in preparing our gym for graduation ceremony. He is a die- hard Bulldog fan, always putting others needs above his own! Mr. Lovingood is an excellent example of what is means to Love, Serve, Care the Bulldog Way!

HighSchoolOT Honors has been recognizing the best in North Carolina high school sports since 2018, and our very own Bulldogs have made the top 5 finalists in "Cheerleading Team of The Year" and "Student Section of The Year." HSOT Honors 2025-26

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 on their incredible milestone! We celebrated their graduation yesterday, and we are so very proud of this group of young men and women and all they have accomplished. As they step into the next chapter of their lives, we wish them the very best! They will do great things as they continue to Love, Serve, and Care the Bulldog Way!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 10th is THE BIG DAY !🎓

Just a few important reminders for our seniors and their families and guests…
-Grads arrive by 4:45pm and report to the check-in table.
-Doors open for guests at 5:30pm and close promptly at 6:30pm.
-All guests must have a ticket, including babies and children. Tickets will be collected at the door.
-Graduation ceremony begins at 6:30pm.

Don't forget, all seniors are invited to Project Graduation afterwards at the Sneads Ferry Community Center!

Due to technical difficulties, we are canceling retesting for today. We will reach out to students to reschedule later this week. At this time DHS does not have any internet or phone service. We apologize for any inconvenience. We will proceed with graduation practice today at 1pm for all graduates. Students MUST attend in order to receive their graduation tickets.

Last week, we inducted 65 new members into our National Honor Society! We want to thank our amazing officers for all of their hard work this school year.
