It’s been quiet here for a while.
Not because life stopped. Just because it got really full.
The last year has been a lot of living behind the scenes. Raising babies, building this business, photographing some incredible people, and figuring out how to slow down when things feel heavy.
Somewhere along the way I stopped sharing it here.
Then weeks turned into months and the longer I stayed quiet, the harder it felt to come back.
But lately I’ve felt that pull to create again. The one that reminds me why I started doing this in the first place.
So this is me showing up again.
Not perfectly.
Not with everything figured out.
Just ready to begin again.
And this time… I think I’ll stay a while.

5 Storytelling Tips I Swear By
1. Shoot the quiet sh*t.
The glances. The way their hands lock. The stillness between the big moments—that’s where the real story lives.
2. Ditch the over-posing.
You can guide people without putting them in a box. The gold happens when they forget you’re there.
3. Get close. Like, awkwardly close.
If it feels a little too intimate, you’re probably doing it right. Presence over perfection.
4. Light is everything.
Chase it, wait for it, bend around it. Good light feels. Bad light... just fills space.
5. Edit with intention.
How you finish the story matters. The tone, the color, the grit—it all adds to the emotion.
